dadsI’m going to take a slightly different approach to this month’s dad blogger round up. You see BritMums Live is almost upon us and each year a tiny percentage of attendees has X Y chromosomes. I thought I’d introduce you to the dads I know will be in attendance.

Firstly though, why do dads go along? Obvious as this may sound, it’s all about the blogging. There is no BritDads Live and so if you are a dad blogger and want to learn about the latest trends and get inspiration for improving your blog, not to mention meet other superb bloggers, BritMums Live is the place to go.

Here’s who you can expect to see and what’s on their blog right now.

A man many of you will know is Darren Coleshill (@onedad3girls), the man behind both the OneDad3Girls.com blog and one of the chaps behind the Love All Dads podcast. A former Brilliance in Blogging Award winner himself, Darren is big on photography and his #MySundayPhoto linky regularly attracts around 200 people. You can view the most recent linky here.

Ryan Costello (@costyy2k) is a dad of two and writes DadCreek.com. Ryan has a son and a daughter not to mention an impressive beard. In his latest blog post he writes a touching letter to his two year old son.

Martyn Kitney (@Mr_Kitney) is a single, stay at home dad with two boys that he home schools. I have no idea how he manages this and keeps up his blog InsideMartynsMind. His latest blog post features a surreal conversation with his kids about an animal / banana hybrid. It must exist because Martyn found a picture of one on Google.

Dad of three Tim Liew (@thatchamdad) is a very experienced blogger. He has more than one blog and among them is SlouchingTowardsThatcham.com. Tim is incredibly friendly on social media and in this blog post, his two sons have been terrorising the sales people at the local Citroen dealership.

Tony Pitt (@papatont) is a military man with two kids. He claims to be tired of living up to society’s expectations of being a parent and husband and mixes very serious blog posts with great humour. In this post he is parenting solo for the first time ever while his wife takes a break in Turkey. During the week he somehow manages to do all the washing so he can actually see the bottom of the laundry basket. Have you ever managed this? I know I haven’t.

Dave at TheDadVenturer (@The_dadventurer) has been blogging for a while about life with his wife, baby daughter and sausage dog. He’s also new to the ranks of stay at home dad-dom. Another very approachable chap on social media, you can read about Dave’s DIY adventures in this post.

I couldn’t get confirmation about their presence before my deadline for producing this post, but two other possible attendees are Mark Richards of BestDadICanBe fame and Julian Boffin of NorthernDadBlog. Along with myself (family category) and Darren Coleshill (social media and photography categories) Mark (outstanding category) and Julian (writer category) have been shortlisted for Brilliance in Blogging Awards. If they make it through to the finals, I’m very much hoping they come along and join the small but incredibly handsome gang of dad bloggers in attendance.

Look forward to seeing you all in June!
